<p class="isSelectedEnd">On August 4 and 5, iT.eam participated in the <strong>Gartner Security &amp; Risk Management Summit 2026</strong> in São Paulo as an exhibitor.</p>
<p class="PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer" data-start="133" data-end="381">During the two-day event, our team followed discussions on the current cybersecurity agenda and welcomed security leaders and teams to our booth for conversations about AI, SOC, vulnerability management, risk, governance and operational efficiency.</p>
<p data-start="383" data-end="632">Once again, Gartner provided an important environment to observe how companies are conducting their security decisions. Topics that once seemed more distant are now part of discussions about investment, integration, operations and business outcomes.</p>

<p data-start="1009" data-end="1306">Technology continues to advance, possibilities continue to expand and organizations need to understand what makes sense for their own reality. This involves evaluating existing structures, incorporating new capabilities with criteria and defining next steps according to each company’s priorities.</p>

<li data-section-id="97z4o0" data-start="1858" data-end="1955">SOC efficiency to reduce operational volume, prioritize investigations and accelerate response.</li>
<li data-section-id="8hupon" data-start="1956" data-end="2028">Risk and vulnerability management guided by clear business priorities.</li>
</ul>
<p data-start="2030" data-end="2223">These discussions are directly connected to the routine of leaders and teams that need to deal with more demands, more signals and less room for decisions disconnected from operational reality.</p>
<p data-start="2225" data-end="2498">In the SOC, for example, the search for efficiency appears when teams need to reduce the time spent on alerts with little context, investigate with more consistency and respond faster. To make this possible, technology, processes and people need to work in a connected way.</p>
<h2>AI in SOC operations: method before automation</h2>
<p class="PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer" data-start="2551" data-end="2681">The efficiency that AI brings to security operations occupies a significant part of today’s conversations. And not without reason.</p>
<p data-start="2683" data-end="2913">But in the routine of a SOC, the discussion is not simply about automating steps. To support high-quality analysis, AI needs to start from method, training and knowledge about how to investigate, classify and communicate an alert.</p>
<p data-start="2915" data-end="3128">During the event, Dirceu Soares, Director of Operations at iT.eam, commented on <a class="decorated-link" href="https://youtu.be/mICSwA32w3g" target="_new" rel="noopener" data-start="2995" data-end="3127">how AI can support SOC operations without replacing the judgment of those who investigate and decide</a>.</p>
<p data-start="3130" data-end="3374">According to him, AI can help enrich alerts, guide analyses, accelerate communication and support analysts in defining what needs to be handled or notified. This support helps save time and direct attention to what truly requires investigation.</p>

<p data-start="3912" data-end="4171">When a company understands which risks require immediate attention and which initiatives can generate more results, execution gains direction. This clarity helps leaders and teams move from an extensive list of demands to a path that can actually be executed.</p>
